We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our world-class engineering team. As a Senior Software Developer, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the development of our exceptional products and services. You will work closely with internal customers, technical analysts, and other engineers to deliver flawless software solutions that meet the needs of our global financial community.
You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for end-to-end delivery, from customer engagement to operations. You will have the opportunity to work on all stages of software development, including front-end and back-end development, database integrations, network and hosting management, user interface, user experience, and back-end server management.

What you'll do

• Analyze detailed systems factors, input/output requirements, information flow, and hardware and software requirements
• Lead design review meetings for small to medium-sized projects
• Evaluate and recommend technical feasibility and estimates of proposed systems solutions
• Collaborate with customers to gain insights into their needs and requirements, and provide recommendations on effective solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and integrate new features and improvements to our instant messaging connectivity solution
• Use a range of proven technologies, including Java 11, Docker, Microservices, Spring Boot, and gRPC
• Prepare systems documentation and operating procedures
• Provide technical assistance to colleagues and assist in resolving problems

Profile

• University degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least 6 years of professional software development and maintenance experience
• Proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design skills
• Expertise with Java 8, 11 or 17 programming language. C++ knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of popular Java frameworks and modern development tools
• Familiarity with Linux OS, CI/CD, and Agile & DevOps methodologies
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
